Swedish-American Business Directory - a web based service developed for the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce. It included service development, market potential, user-testing with all the different users, need finding, long-term online strategy as well as how it connects with the organizations overall strategy. The biggest constraint to the project was the 500 $ budget. There were several stakeholders in this project: Swedish companies looking for help when entering the American market. American companies interested in doing business with Swedish companies. Administrators at the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce. The requirements was a searchable database, including payment and registration through a web interface.It should have a Content Management System where the administrators can manage unique members and the published content without requiring any computer science skills. It should be as clean as possible and require as few clicks as possible. The project also included an extinctive user manual for the CMS-system, a profile management system for the members in the directory and a feedback system. During the project I got more involved in the marketing strategies of the Business Directory, both towards Swedish and American stakeholders.
