DopExpo - Design Fair
I founded a student expo involving 300 students and a handful partner companies and organizations. I developed the vision, all the marketing material, including a catalogue. I was responsible for budgeting, selling the concept internally and developing a strategy to get all the students and industrial partners to participate. I also developed an Internet-strategy for the expo as well as a succession plan for the running and development of the expo for the coming years. www.dopexpo.se The idea was based on two facts, the program wasn’t recognized by the industry and their projects were thrown away after the school year. The solution was to create a setting where students could present their work to the public and the industry. This created more pressure on the students, something to look forward to, visibility towards industry and the public as well as for potential students. WEB INTERFACE: DopExpo - I developed the concept including a user interface for visitors, students who upload their content and an easy way to monitor who added what sort of content as well as possibilities to export the data for the creation of a physical catalogue. The web page was a part in a much larger project but played an essential role as marketing tool, archive, data administration and to keep track of the process. dop proj131124
